Active Members are Belgian medical scientific societies meeting the following criteria:

1. non profit making association
2. scientific association
3. medical society
4. active in Belgium

These societies are fully integrated into ARSMB-KVBMG because their objectives are the same.

Active Members benefit from a wide range of services, including:

• Full access to all ARSMB-KVBMG services
• Benefiting from the society’s secretariat
• Administrative support and computerized member registration (new members, corrections, annual listings, …)
• Administrative, financial, and legal guidance: statutes, compliance with non-profit laws, insurance, social obligations, fiscal responsibilities

ARSMB-KVBMG also acts as a liaison between its members and external professionals, including fiscal advisors, lawyers, insurers, printers, publishers,...

Membership Contributions:

1. Societies with regular administrative & commercial support: €5,00 per member, per year
2.  Societies without regular administrative & commercial support: lump sum of
   - €170,00 per year (medical societies).
   - € 220,00 per year (non-medical societies).

• Headquarters – Societies and organizations may establish their official headquarters at the ARSMB-KVBMG address (approval required), avoiding the need to publish HQ changes in the Moniteur/Staatsblad when mandates are updated.
• Trilingual Secretariat Support (French, Dutch, English):
  o Daily secretarial work, mailings, fee collection, text review, proof reading and contract checks, …
  o Secretarial work: €32,00/hour + 21% VAT
  o Scientific text correction or administrative text translation: €37,00/hour + 21% VAT
• Event & Congress Support:
  o Planning of programs and pre-programs, address listings, posters, lecturer instructions, travel and accommodation, …
  o Registration before and on-site
• Accreditation:
  o Submission of accreditation requests, participant registration and entry of data into the official National Institute of Health INAMI-RIZIV site, CME, Mdeon
  o Opportunity to draw the attention of possible new members at events
• Website Services:
  o Promotion of ARSMB-KVBMG activities and member society events
  o Links to member societies upon request
  o Website undergoing major reorganization for improved functionality
• Facilities:
  o Meeting room with beamer for 20–24 attendees: €80,00 per evening
  o Free courtyard parking
  o Long-term office space for rent, including desk, cupboards and optional indoor parking
• Networking Partnerships:
  o Introduction to companies specialized in communication, videoconferencing, multimedia and data processing
  o Contacts with companies providing guided tours, partner programmes, receptions and dinners
